Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
1. What this page covers
This policy explains how Discovering Stays Guides handles privacy on this guide subdomain, including checkout-connected account access, guide/order-bump access, product support, cookie consent, product-term consent records, and optional tracking. The main Descubriendo Viajes website and third-party providers may have separate privacy policies.
2. Information we may collect
We may collect or store your checkout email, name if provided, purchased product SKUs, product access status, payment status, amount, currency, Stripe checkout/session/customer/payment references, account login/session records, magic-link records, support messages, admin notes, browser details, timestamps, and technical data needed to provide access and prevent abuse.
When you accept product-specific terms before opening a guide or order bump, we record the account email, product SKU, product name, consent type, terms version, privacy version, liability version, acceptance timestamp, acceptance path, source page or URL, terms/privacy links, acknowledgement labels, browser details, language header, and a hashed IP value.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We use Stripe session and payment status information to provision account access, show orders in the admin area, process refunds, and troubleshoot checkout. We do not store full card details on this site.
4. Cookie consent and optional tracking
The sales page can show a cookie banner. Checkout, thank-you, and guide pages apply the stored cookie decision without showing a second banner. Cookie-consent records may include consent ID, version, action, categories, path, URL, referrer, region signal, screen size, browser, language header, IP address, hashed IP, and timestamps.
Optional tracking is loaded only when the stored consent categories allow it, or when the consent system determines consent is not required for the visitor's region. The current client-side tracking code can load Meta Pixel for PageView, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase events; Google Analytics 4 for checkout and purchase events; and Microsoft Clarity for performance/session insights. Purchase events use the Stripe checkout session ID for deduplication. There is no server-side Meta Conversions API path in the current implementation.
5. Email, account, and support tools
Customer and admin login links, account-ready emails, and support-related emails may be sent through email providers such as Resend. Live buyer data may be synced to MailerLite for buyer segmentation and email communication. Support messages and admin notes are stored so we can answer requests, handle access issues, and process refund or privacy questions.
6. Account and admin access
Private admin pages can show clients, orders, support, cookie-consent records, product-term consent records, and system health. Admin privacy controls can blur client data in the interface, but the data remains available to authorized admins for support, compliance, refunds, and abuse prevention.
7. Server logs and security
We may use server logs and technical records to keep the guide available, investigate errors, detect abuse, enforce access, protect accounts, and maintain payment or consent evidence. This may include IP address, hashed IP, browser type, page path, timestamps, and request metadata.
8. External links
When you click to the main Descubriendo Viajes website, payment tools, booking sites or social platforms, their own privacy policies apply.
9. Your choices
You can accept or decline optional cookie categories where the banner is shown. Declining optional categories stops the optional tracking code from loading for that stored decision. You can contact support for account access, refund, privacy, or data questions.
10. Updates
We may update this policy when the site changes checkout, email delivery, analytics, account access, support, consent records, or other services.
