1. Service summary

Discovering Stays Guides is a digital travel-guide product connected to Descubriendo Viajes. It provides self-directed travel information, resort reviews, comparison tools, booking education, excursion notes, safety reminders, and related materials for personal travel planning.

We are not a travel agency, tour operator, hotel, excursion operator, transport provider, insurer, immigration adviser, medical provider, legal adviser, or emergency service. Unless a product page says otherwise in writing, we do not book hotels, flights, transfers, excursions, permits, insurance, restaurants, or activities for you.

Opening a paid guide or order bump may require a short product-specific consent step. That step is part of these terms and confirms that you reviewed the product's travel-risk boundaries, privacy notice, and liability limits before accessing the paid material.

Travel decisions involve changing real-world conditions. Use the guides as research support, then verify important details directly with official sources and providers before booking or traveling.

2. Who may use the products

The products are intended for adults who can make their own travel decisions. If you use the guides for a family, partner, client, friend, or group, you are responsible for deciding whether the information fits that person's needs, health, budget, risk tolerance, documents, and travel style.

You are responsible for keeping your account email and login links secure. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact support from your account page.

7. Digital product access and license

Your purchase grants one personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the purchased digital product through the account email used at checkout. You may use the guide for your own personal or household trip planning.

You may not resell, share, publish, upload, copy, scrape, translate for redistribution, create competing products from, publicly repost, or give account access to paid guide materials without written permission. You may print or save materials for your own personal trip planning when the product interface allows it.

Access can be paused or revoked for payment reversal, refund abuse, suspected account sharing, scraping, unauthorized redistribution, security risk, or conduct that harms the service or other customers.

"Lifetime access" means access for the lifetime of the product while we continue operating it, subject to technical maintenance, abuse prevention, provider outages, legal requirements, and product changes. It does not guarantee that every future edition, destination, feature, or product will be included for free unless the offer page says so.

8. Purchases and refunds

Prices, included products, currencies, taxes, and checkout terms are shown on the product page or checkout page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe, under their own payment terms.

The current Dominican Republic Resort Guide sales page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you purchased through an offer that includes that guarantee, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase through support. If a checkout includes order bumps in the same purchase, the guarantee applies to the qualifying purchase unless the checkout page says otherwise.

Refund timing, card statement timing, currency conversion, and payment disputes may depend on your bank, card network, payment provider, and local law.

9. Accuracy, updates, and availability

We try to keep guide content useful and honest. Still, travel information becomes outdated. Hotels, beaches, restaurants, excursions, prices, opening hours, government rules, local conditions, and provider policies can change without notice.

We may add, remove, reorganize, correct, or update guide content over time. We may also pause access temporarily for maintenance, technical issues, security, or provider outages.

10. Your travel responsibilities

You are responsible for your own travel decisions, including budget, documents, passports, visas, health requirements, travel insurance, medical needs, personal safety, child safety, mobility needs, local laws, and provider terms.

We strongly recommend checking official government travel advice, hotel/provider terms, current weather and sea conditions, health guidance, and travel-insurance coverage before and during your trip.

11. External links and third-party providers

The guides may link to hotels, online travel agencies, excursion companies, restaurants, maps, social platforms, payment processors, or other third-party services. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their actions, omissions, prices, availability, safety practices, refund policies, data practices, or customer support.

12. Support boundaries

If the offer includes support, that support is for reasonable product questions, missing access, billing questions, guide clarification, or choosing between options. It is not live trip concierge service, emergency help, legal advice, medical advice, or a guarantee that we can resolve third-party provider problems.

13. Intellectual property

Text, photos, scoring systems, design, layouts, product structure, downloadable materials, and guide materials are owned by Discovering Stays / Descubriendo Viajes unless otherwise stated. Buying a guide gives you access to use it personally; it does not transfer ownership of the content.

14. Product-term consent records

Before opening a purchased guide or companion product, your account may ask you to confirm a short product-specific terms notice. When you accept, we record separate consent rows for terms, privacy, liability, and travel-risk/disclaimer acceptance. Records may include the account email, product SKU, product name, consent type, terms version, privacy version, liability version, acceptance timestamp, acceptance path, source page or URL, terms/privacy links, acknowledgement labels, browser details, language header, and a hashed IP value.

Product-term consent records appear in the private admin dashboard. They are separate from cookie-consent records.

15. Privacy, cookies, and tracking

The Privacy Policy explains the account, checkout, support, cookie-consent, product-consent, and optional tracking data handled by this guide subdomain. Optional tracking currently uses client-side tools only, based on the stored cookie-consent decision where required. See the Privacy Policy for the current details.

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The products are provided for informational travel planning. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, specific travel outcomes, provider availability, provider quality, lowest prices, safety, suitability, or that a recommendation will match your preferences.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses; travel delays; cancellations; injuries; illness; lost money; lost luggage; provider disputes; booking mistakes; weather; closures; overbooking; local conditions; or decisions you make based on the guides. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the affected product, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as products, checkout flows, support, or legal requirements change. The version shown on this page applies from the "Last updated" date above. If a product asks you to accept updated product-specific terms, the account system may record that newer acceptance.
